Marina Myers, Centerburg's own classically trained pianist, is a native of Russia. She married Greg Myers of Centerburg and has been enthusiastically participating in community events ever since. Last year she was joined by Susie Oswalt, local choir director, who led the crowd in an "oldies sing-along" with music going back to the '40's and '50's. Marina's current day job is accompanying seven Gahanna High School choirs. If you love good piano, you won't want to miss Marina.

Their show is nostalgic and fun with a mix of unique instrumentation such as ukulele, musical saw, washboard, and glockenspeil, as well as buttery three-part harmonies. The Salties have an old-school vibe with their catchy indie and pop rock tunes. The debut of their new album "Baby Blue" represents the sprouting of their Columbus roots into a sultry and endearing sound that is all their own. The Relentless Mules formed out of Columbus, Ohio. One by one, the Relentless Mules found Columbus and each other. Charged by the values of collaboration and improvisation, the Mules have set out to spread Truegrass music all around Ohio and to parts beyond.
The Relentless Mules' banjo, mandolin, guitar, and bass anchor the sweet three-part singing of the band's energetic and heartfelt vocalists. This truegrass band draws from the classic songbooks of Flatt and Scruggs, the Osbourne Brothers, Bill Monroe, Reno and Smiley, among others. Their presentation of these songs is at once true to form and a contemporary expression by these artists.
The instrumental strength of each individual is the foundation of the band's powerful momentum. Daniel Phelps' mastery of the bluegrass guitar idiom stems from his true blue Kentucky upbringing. Raised playing music with his grandfather, father and brother. Daniel is a wellspring of traditional and modern guitar sounds. Whether backing a vocalist, or playing an instrumental number, he displays the full range of his guitar at each showing . There are many fine mandolin players in bluegrass music, but few can match the imagination and emotional intelligence of Caleb Powers. His strong, creative mandolin playing is one of the Mules' greatest assets. The breadth of his ideas extends beyond genre lines, bringing rich melodic and harmonic concepts to bear in the Relentless Mules take on bluegrass music. The five-string banjo is wielded by firebrand Glenn Rinehart. Glenn fills out the Mules' sound nicely. His ruthless right hand drives the band to new levels of energy. The keystone of the Mules' push is string bassist Chris Stevens. The Mules may sing a bittersweet song of parting or kick of a burning dance tune, and Chris Stevens will be right at the center of it.
